Hemingway Tailors has launched an innovative – “Suit in a Box” – to make the gift of a bespoke suit a reality.

The exquisitely packaged box contains the fabric and lining which has been personally hand-picked by the purchaser – and is ready to be transformed into a stunning handmade bespoke suit by Hemingway – often referred to as ‘the Savile Row of the North.’

With a choice of over 3000 fabrics for its bespoke designs, Hemingway can create a stunning range spanning lounge suits, formal morning wear, tail coats, dinner suits – and even a one-off design. The company also offers bespoke monogrammed shirts and ties and can customise suits by embroidering names and phrases into jackets’ linings.

Toby Luper, the company’s highly sought-after tailor, has amassed more than 35 years experience of ensuring his clients – who include city movers and shakers and celebrities – exude ‘timeless elegance.’

His Visiting Tailor service allows the customer to relax in the surroundings of his own home, or at work if preferred, for initial measurements. A return visit takes place for a “fitting” and the suit is then fully finished in the company’s workrooms, before being personally delivered by Toby.
